The Tibs cat artwork was created by Ada Griffiths and is not covered by the software license. All rights reserved.
But why is it called tibs?#
Because ‘tibs’ is (almost) ‘bits’ backwards. It’s also distinctive, and the name was available on PyPI.
It’s got nothing to do with Ethiopian stew. Or cats.
